    • Answer Instructions say 120 volt only. You will probably have to get a converter that runs on the power system in Africa. They are sold at hardware stores and by stores that sell luggage. Hope this helps.

    • Answer Listed in specification weight is 55.4lbs. I obviously didn't put it on scale, but with help of my son we attached it above the stove and didn't have much problem lifting it. It's too bulky for one person to handle anyway.
