QuestionMy ME197041fs OTR microwave didn't have a charcoal filter, is it supposed to? I've tried in vain to find the filter online. I've tried Samsung parts, I've tried the manual and I can't even find a part number. How does one purchase a filter for this??

- Answer The samsung came with instructions to flip the fan in the back to attach to a hood or vent. We do not have that so we had to flip it to blow out the front of the unit.

- Answer VENT are on top. convertible to Exhaust to out side. Recommend OUTSIDE vent pipe to remove smoke, odor, fie hazard.

QuestionInstalled the microwave today and it seems to work great. I do have one concern. When I hit start, the unit does start and runs fine...however there is a clicking sound when the start button is pressed. Only last for 2 clicks and stops.

QuestionWhy are halogen bulbs used?

- Answer Better question, how in heck to install a replacement?! The design is so poor for reaching in, even with small hands, only 2" of space. The manual says 20W halogen, but no mention of bulb "type", the G8 I bought will NOT go into either of the 2 light sockets. Anyone who's replaced got any tips? Downloaded manual - offered no further help. This should be so simple.
