“Just bought and installed this last night. exhaust for the stove top works fine. When I cook i hear a buzz or hum are the fans this quiet when cooking? Also I see steam when not sure if its because the black interior or the fan is not working.”

I've used my fan once and it sounds like a normal fan exhaust. If you are seeing steam or hear a buzz/hum noise I would say something is wrong with the fans and you need to return your product immediately.
