• depends on the MS Surface how much it can supports. If it supports 128GB then you have no issues. BUt the max surface supports is 64 then though you insert 128GB it can use only 64GB

• Don't know for sure as I have a Surface Pro 4. I suggest you call Microsoft to check on that.
