Hi Susan, We appreciate your question about the finish of this Samsung dishwasher model and if it is the same color as a different brand. We agree that certain conditions may affect how the finish of a Home Appliance may look, from the monitor used, how it was uploaded to the site, the camera that was used, etc. Each company has different ways of creating its finish for its panels. The Stainless Steel look may either look darker or lighter if compared to other brands in the market. The best way of finding out would be to visit a local vendor like Best Buy and see if the color matches. You can also try calling them and seeing if one of the agents there can check for you to save a visit. Leo
