Hi TJBatts! The HW-A430 does not require an internet connection to operate. You can connect the soundbar to the TV via Bluetooth or with the digital optical audio cable.

This doesn’t need an internet connection. Check if the TV has optical port to connect the optical cable bcoz this model has only optical connectivity.

Yes it will work perfectly with your TV/game system and phone Bluetooth w/out internet. I Love mine.
