Hi Bags! The HW-A430 does not support an HDMI connection to the TV. For the best audio performance and user experience, we recommend using a digital optical audio cable to connect the HW-A430 to your TV. ^Tim

It doesn't support HDMI cables.Either use Bluetooth or the Optical cable which is included. Both work good.
