“Can this device be remote controlled with a samsung phone? I know samsung has Audio Remote but was not sure if this device was compatible.”

Hello HCD21, Yes, aslong as the soundbar is connected via HDMI to your TV, when you control the Volume of the TV it will control the soundbar aswell. Its all part of the Samsung ecosystem. ^Cristian
