Mine would make a really annoying vibrating rattle noise and I determined it was caused by the flimsy grease catcher tray that slides into the bottom of the microwave over where the air from the fam is sucked in. No matter what I did, I couldn't get the rattling to stop so I finally just removed the tray and leave it out all the time now so that it doesn't rattle. This makes the microwave sound much better.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello there! When the microwave is operating, it is normal for it to make humming or buzzing sounds. This happens for several reasons, but is most commonly due to magnetron oscillation (or when the microwave is heating) and/or the vent fan running. Hope this helps! -Cole
