“Our cabinet depth above and beside the microwave would be about 16”. Is this still safe to install?”

• Yes. If you give them the dimensions , pretty much all microwaves of this type are the same size. My kitchen cabinets were installed before I received my appliances. Once they came , it was installed with no issues. Refer to photos . It fit with no issues.
