“We have installed it over a samsung slide in gas range and the microwave handle gets really hot. does any one have this issue?”

Wow I cant believe some of the answers to some of these questions on this website. To answer this one . Yes it does get hot to the touch if using a gas burner on high directly under the handle. I suppose most microwaves would have that issue. I have learned to use the burner on the opposite side to more or less fix the hot handle issues. So - in summary - A direct gas flame on high even with a pan on it will get any otc microwave handle very warm to pretty dang hot if directly under the handle . Cheers all, Louis
