Yes the grill plate and rack both come with the microwave. The grill plate is ceramic and cleans off nicely. I cooked some chicken on it last night and most of the fat drained off the chicken. I let the fat set up and wiped it into the garbage with a paper towel. Then just washed it with soap and water by hand no scrubbing needed.
