“I have 37cm cabinets above and the right side of where the microwave mounts, but nothing on the left side where the door is hinged. The install manual says that max cabinet depth is 30cm. Would our cabinets be ok the way they are if the door isn't blocked”

Ok, I'm in the US. here we use inches, so The width in inches is 29 7/8" which is 75.88 cm. I believe there is a tri mount pattern on top of the microwave. It also has a rear mount clip that runs the bottom back edge of the microwave. I would check with Samsung directly. I haven't recieved my microwave unit yet so I can't answer your question completely. It's being delivered today. So from the description on Besbuys web page. The unit measures Width 29 7/8" which is 75.88 cm. The height is 17 1/16 inches, which is 43.34 cm. The depth 16 1/2", which is 41.91 cm. My old unit again mounted from the top with three bolts and the back with a single plate on the back wall, the lowest part on the microwave. Good luck.
