“I've e only had this fridge for a couple of months and it is SO noisy why with the latest technology is this the case. Yesterday I thought a helicopter was flying over our house turns out it is our new refrigerator!! I don't have the ice maker hooked.”

You must have a lemon! We've had ours for a month. Ultra quiet. Ditto for the icemaker. Every now and then I'll hear ice plop into the container. We got the 21.1 cu. ft. model. Very pleased with our purchase so far.
