This refrigerator will fit a 36" wide space. The key is what's on each side of this fridge. If it is standard kitchen counter 25-26" deep, just make sure the fridge door hinge is in line with the counter edge. That way the doors will open fully. If there's a wall on either side of the space, and if the wall is a short wall, say 25-26", then would be same as counter depth. However, if the wall is a long wall, the fridge door will not be opened fully, probably just 90 degrees, and will impede on accessing the interior, and the bins will not pull out.
