A:AnswerHi JimD! Yes, you can remove the ice bucket to retrieve any ice that has been made. Page 65 of the user manual (https://bit.ly/2PF7I3u) has instructions on how to do this. ^Jecca
A:AnswerI looked in my manual for this refrigerator and it says the width is 35 3/4 inches. I found the documented dimensions to be the same as the measured dimensions.
A:AnswerIf you have an ice maker in it, return it and get something else. The ice maker is a known issue even after repairs. Samsung will not help you once the warranty expires. The ice make frosts over so much, it causes the ice to jam up and no longer produce ice. In my searches, this has been an issue for several years. Ours is less that two years old and been problematic from day one.
A:AnswerNo. Mine doesn’t have it either. I noticed it too but nothing in the box for it. Could of been for a different model maybe in another country as well?
A:AnswerHey there, TDavis. Here are step by step instructions on how to properly replace the water filter. I hope this clears up any confusion. 1. Shut off the water supply line.
2. Turn the knob of the filter cartridge
counter clockwise 90 degrees (1/4
turn). The filter cartridge unlocks.
3. Pull out to remove the cartridge.
- If the water filter is severely
contaminated, the cartridge may not
be easy to remove. If that is the case,
use force to remove the cartridge.
- To prevent water leaks from the
filter opening, pull the cartridge
straight out while removing it.
4. Insert a new filter cartridge. Use only
Samsung-provided or approved filters.

5. Turn the cartridge knob clockwise to
lock into place.
6. Press and hold Filter Reset on the main
panel for 3 seconds to reset the life
cycle detector. The Filter Reset indicator
( ) turns off.
7. When you are done replacing the filter,
open the water valve and run water
through the dispenser for about 7
minutes. This is to remove impurities
and air from the water line. ^Lo
