The 29 cubic foot RFG297HDRS uses a state of the art insulation which enables thinner walls and larger capacity despite the similar exterior dimensions as our 26 cubic foot models. Besides the difference in capacity, the newer RF263BEAESR features upgraded High Efficiency LED lighting in both the fridge and freezer, a redesigned control panel and EZ Open freezer drawer handle, and the new IceMaster icemaker which takes up less space while producing up to 10 pounds of ice per day - about 33% more than the previous design.
