There's an upgraded kit for the ice maker, Y-Clips with a plastic bracket. Also remove the ice bucket with a flashlight shine it on the outside in fridge to make sure there's no gaps causing air leaks. My ice make initially did that too. Then it froze so bad it stopped working. I need to replace the entire ice maker. Is there a way to do that?
If so, where can I order it from?

The bin just pulls out. I would turn your freezer down I haven’t had any problem with blocks freezing
