If this is true, it may explain our problem. We run our dishwasher at night when we run our AC. The AC vent is on the floor only two feet from the dishwasher. The dishwasher rarely leaks during the day but may occasionally when the humidity is high. Hmmmmm.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The condensation drying system in the DW80F600UTS relies on the residual heat on the dishes to evaporate water which is then drawn into a channel inside the dishwasher door where it mixes with air from your kitchen. If there's an air conditioning vent very close to the vent on the bottom of the door, it could conceivably cause the moisture to re-condense before it can disperse. Alternatively, you could allow the moisture to disperse into the room from the top of the dishwasher by opening the door before the drying cycle is complete, similar to some conventional models that vent steam into the room; however, this may not allow for the water to fully evaporate from the dishes. Another solution could be to run the dishwasher at times when your home's AC is not on, allowing the mixed air to effectively disperse without dripping. I hope these suggestions help to address your concerns. - Ms. Samsung
