Sanitize light remains on The sanitize light remains on after the wash cycle has completed. The light does not turn off until the door is opened or the power button is turned off, why doesn't it turn off when the wash cycle is finished?

It lets you know the sanitization cycle worked, i have had other dishwashers like this, you may have pressed the san button but something may have gone wrong (door getting open, etc) so this tells you it worked.

To remind you that the last washing cycle was a sanitize wash so the dishes may be hot. I like this feature.

It just indicates the dishes are clean sanitize. And cycle for cleaning is done.

Thanks for the question. It isn't unusual for the lights that correspond with the most recent selected cycle to remain illuminated until it is deactivated by the power being shut off or door being opened. - Ms. Samsung
