The auto-release dry feature is designed to improve drying by allowing steam to escape and air to circulate better, but if your dishes are still coming out wet and the door is opening fully, it might not be working as it should. There could be a few reasons for this: 1. Installation Issues: Sometimes, if the dishwasher isn't installed correctly, it can affect its performance. A damaged hinge(s) and or spring(s) will lead to what you are experiencing and an authorized service technician will need to visit. 2. Loading: How dishes are loaded can affect drying.
