- Answer We purchased the water line kit for the fridge. It connects to the 1/4in water supply line and came with connection fittings in case it needed to be adapted. The tubing for the line itself is bigger than 1/4 in and we’ve noticed better water flow output for drinking water from the fridge. Our old fridge the water for drinking came out really slow. This one the stream is much more strong. Hope this helps answer your question.

- Answer Best Buy offers taking of the old unit if you aren’t keeping it for whatever reason. They asked us when they delivered as well. However we were keeping our old unit the garage for drinks etc.
