The refrigerator comes with a filter that needs replacing every 6 months (and typically, about 300 gallons (1200L) of water); the filter indicator blinks red for several seconds when you open the door, reminding you that the filter needs to be replaced.

To reset the ice maker, press, and hold the ice maker button on the control/feature panel for 3 seconds.
