“Where are the screws that attach the base to the screen? They were not in the box. I see this has been a problem with others. I hate to return it for this but I'll have to if I can't get them today.”

When screws are needed to attach a base, Samsung usually already has the screws already screwed into either the monitor or the base. You should just have to remove them and then screw them back in with the base. It makes it harder to lose them.
