A:Answer This Samsung 4500 series appears to have only a digital optical port for connection to exterior sound systems. You'd need an amplifier / tuner with a digital optical input and a digital optical cable to deliver an audio signal to the separate audio receiver / amplifier / tuner.
While the rear of the Samsung 4500 has five (5) RCA jacks, those are all labeled as "INPUT" NOT "OUTPUT" functions on the rear of the 4500, with those labels moulded into the plastic on the rear panel of the 4500.
I'm finding that very frustrating with my 4500. My other 32 inch Samsungs (5500 Series) have a far widerr compliment of audio output connections.
