It needs to be pulled out far enough to open the doors to their maximum. Otherwise the crisper drawers will not come out. They barely make it out when the doors are open as far as they'll go. If you have a wall that prevents that and you can't pull the entire refrigerator away from the wall, I'd suggest another make.
