Great question, Clay. The freezer section was designed to operate between 5 °F (-15 °C) and -8 °F (-23 °C). Using it as a fridge will be tricky as the fridge operates at 34 °F (1 °C) and 44 °F (7 °C). Have a great day. ^Charles
