How loud is this? What is the sones? null

Hi Meg, The range hood emits a variety of noises while running. Most of these are normal and should never get so loud that it interrupts a conversation. As a comparison, one sone is about the loudness of a quiet running refrigerator, four is a normal conversation, and eight is about light traffic. Samsung range hoods are over ten sones.
