• A:Answer depends on the streaming service. netflix has a set of video devices that you need to ahve at your disposal whereas vudu does not (I personally think this is the easiest/least demanding service in terms of atmos requirements) Simple answer-yes. to be sure, check a service's faq page for atmos..

• A:Answer The current sound systems are matched to the TV brand for best results. The mfg have their own tricks for best results with their TV system. You can mix some components but is best to stay with same mfg. Keep the years close together. Older TV might not know how to deal with newer smart gear.
