Yes, you certainly can. My main reason for purchasing a genuine Samsung cable was to eliminate all the problems I kept having with Android for Auto/Apple Carplay. With other similar cables that were supposed to be identical to the Samsung cable, I kept having disconnects, and other problems with compatibility. I know they look just a basic cable, but there is definitely something different about the Samsung branded cables. They just simply work with no issues with APPS, etc.
