I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A I bought mine almost 3 years ago and i bought this cable a week ago but the cable did not fit into the charging port in my tablet it was to big. Attached there is a pic showing the white cable from Samsung that did not worked and then there is a blue and black cable that did worked.
