A:AnswerNo. Convection with Air Fry option.
Induction requires a metal pan on the cooktop (basically, almost any one you can stick a magnet to) to induce a current in the pan itself to heat it up.. The oven just has wire racks and heating coils, etc.
A:AnswerHello Vic,
We're so excited to respond to your inquiry. Let's get you the information you need.
If you are looking for a backguard for your range, you can choose from either of these two models: The NX-AB5900RS/AA (9" Backguard for 30" Slide in Range in Stainless Steel) or the NX-AB5400RS/AA (4" Backguard for 30" Slide in Range in Stainless Steel). Each of these two can add the aesthetic look your range deserves.
Have a great day.

A:AnswerStrange - I'm wondering the same thing with my mini-Pinscher who has been acting weird. Last night he actually went downstairs and out onto the patio - never happened before. He's anxious the whole time I've made breakfast this morning. I have the 30" Samsung profile from Best Buy - and my name is Deb!
A:AnswerIt's perfect for storing oven-safe cookware like baking sheets, pans, and racks. I use it to keep my food warm even though there is no heating element in it

A:AnswerThe oven works just like a regular oven, the induction is for the surface and yes special cookware is needed. If a magnet sticks to the bottom of your pan or pot, then it will work if it does not then it will not.
A:AnswerHi Mark H,
Yes, this Samsung range model has a pan detector equipped. Given in your example, when lifting the pan to shake or stir the food and then returning the pan to the cooktop, you have 30 seconds to do so until an error comes on "Cookware incompatible or not placed." If the pan is not returned within 30 seconds or the pan is not detected by the cooktop the cooking zone will turn off and you will have to reset the controls.
I have shared this model's user manual link below. Please turn to pages 22 - 28 for operating the cooktop and its guidelines.

A:AnswerHi Lori,
Yes, the range has a temperature detection that automatically adjusts the heat if it gets too high; however, the range doesn't have an auto-off when the pan is left on the cooktop.
Thank you and have a great day!

A:AnswerIf you look at the installation manual, this range comes with a filler for the back. However, in our area, the installers apparently throw this away (along with the anti tip plate), and you will have to order it. Best Buy then sent their Geek squad to screw it on. A hassle, but don't give up demanding the part!!!!
A:AnswerHi Sam,
Here is a link to help you with the control panel. Please see "The control panel" section on page 30 of the user's manual.
