“Can I use this TV to show media from my Smart Phone? I would like to be able to plug my smart phone (Samsung GS5) into this TV to show photos and movies. Can I plug it into one of the HDMI slots and have it work? I'm not sure if the HDMI has to MHL compatible or not for this to work - or if you just get extra features (control the display with TV remote and charge the phone while it's plugged in) with the MHL. Either way, I'd like to be able to plug my smart phone it and show media. Thanks.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your phone has HDMI out, this will support it. I do not believe it will charge your phone though. The phone is really the influence here in what will happen when you plug it into the HDMI port. So, if and only if your Samsung Galaxy S5 (sorry I'm not familiar with it) supports HDMI out, then you can output to this TV. So, this TV can support HDMI from a phone, but its only if the phone supports it.
