If it is you can connect your smart phone or iPhone via the Apple lightning cable which is connected to the lightning end of your phone charger and the HDMI cable. You need to connect the smart phone via the lightning cable and HDMI cable. The HDMI cord should be plugged into HDMI port 2 when your television is off. When you turn the tv on, you can see the phone monitor with the apps on your Smart TV.
