“I tried your suggestion but it did not work. I used Code#10060 and the remote will turn off and on and the volume key and the mute button works, but still have no channels. Spent 2 hrs with Comcast and they couldn't help either.”

Go to Menu Hit Auto program Select Cable Now Scan that. You should be able to get the channels you are given in your package ok.
