I have no experience, but I don't know why it wouldn't, depending on the capabilities of the Apple TV. The TV has two HDMI ports that pass audio as well as video. However the TV is advertised as 720p, and should be able to satisfactorily scale to 1080i, if needed. It looks like the only acceptable input resolutions are 720p and 1080i, so your Apple TV should have the capability to scale it's output to either 720p (best) or 1080i, otherwise you may not see a picture on the TV. As an aside, the TV does have a Digital Audio Out connection, which could be used in connection with a separate Bluetooth audio transmitter to connect to Bluetooth headphones.
