If your VCR has the coaxial connection for input and output, you could likely connect this up. Though some of the last generations of VCRs also had RCA outputs. Running this through a converter box to HDMI might be better for video quality. It might be better to consider a 1080P TV instead though as that is a lot of upscaling from VHS quality to 4K
