Hi james, for this model, the Auto Open Door function uses a touch sensor to help release the seal and assist with opening. If one door is opening differently than the other, this is not due to a design difference between the doors. It can sometimes be influenced by how the refrigerator is leveled or positioned, which may affect how far or how easily each door swings open. We’re glad we could help clarify this.
