If i understand you correctly this will need to be hooked up to a PC using a HDMI cable (Provided in box). This also works with other products that support a HDMI port (ex. Consoles, laptops, movie players, etc.. ). Just put together the stand on it and set it down somewhere and plug in its power and its ready to go.
