“I was given a c24f396 monitor as a gift, but when I tried to insert the stand into the back of the monitor, it simply would not snap in. Looking inside, there is a nail that comes out several inches. Am I missing something? Image attached”

If I remember correctly, I removed the screw, and then it snapped in, and then I reinserted the screw.
