The outside edge of my countertop is 25.5". The washer is recessed 3/8". There is room behind washer for drain line and electrical cord maybe 2". Thin metal removable plates are on the back and sides. You'll need to provide electrical cord (12-2) hardwired to panel in the front lower corner of washer. You'll also need to provide a 3/8 water line with a 90°. They sell kits with 3/4 plastic connector and a braided waterline. Washer comes with already connected drain hose that can be cut to fit multiple connections 7/8",1 " etc. It's a nice washer, very quiet. Good luck.
