“We are trying to use our new tv and cannot get the remote to work. It worked one time then would not. Put in 3 sets of new batteries to make sure and still nothing. What do you think? Thanks”

assure power indicator at bottom of tv (below Samsung nameplate) is on and glowing a solid red after you plug in the tv. Press TV controller button to see if tv turns on. If tv turns on, check to see if power indicator at bottom of tv blinks when you press the remote's Power button. Point the remote directly at the tv from no more than 5-6 feet. use the remote that came with the tv.
