We bought this tv solely for our xboxone and fire stick use. I bought a 4K cable just in case but we did not need it. The first fire stick we used was not 4K (it hadn’t arrived yet) and we did not need any 4K cable and it worked perfectly fine. I switched it out once the 4K stick came in and there is really no difference in my opinion. The Xbox came with a 4K cable with it and I my husband set up the system. But if you are streaming through the fire stick there is no need for a 4K cable at all. The tv already comes with downloaded apps as well on the tv when you plug it in now u have an extra cable just in case we need it.
