They are 2 different things , you can get a roku player and it will go into an input ( hdmi 1) per said and Samsung tv plus is build inside the tv using the network ( internet connection) so they can live together, thats the idea : hdmi 1 : roku . Hdmi 2 : fire tv . Hdmi 3 : apple tv , and via internet embedded into the tv : Samsung tv plus . That how all tv are , just use the remote to change between those sources .
