If this is not your first TV ever then connect your antenna to your existing TV and do a channel scan. Whatever channels you get will Work on all new TVs with "antenna in." If your question were: "Does this TV have an ATSC 3.0 Tuner to decode OTA 4K, the answer would be NO. But before that is a relevant question you would need to know WHEN your area will have a station that broadcasts in this format. Depending on how old you are a "regular" antenna is either a rabbit ears or rooftop VHF. These days a "regular" antenna is an UHF outdoor mounted. Most, but not all signals are now UHF, but there are some that are in the VHF range, which would require a VHF antenna. But this also "depends" on how near you are to the station(s) you want to receive. If you are near enough a hang on the wall antenna will be fine. There are web sites that will show you the distance and direction of stations in your area. You can also drive around and see what people in your area have for outdoor antennas and which direction they are pointed.
