Upscaling on this TV is extremely good. Looks almost 4K like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All my peripherals are HD (1080p). Cable TV, Blu-ray player, video game console: the biggest difference here are the colors, not the upscaling. If you pause a DVD during playback and get right up close to the screen in order to see the pixels, it becomes obvious that there is no upscaling. But I watch this TV from about eight feet away, and a black screen is truly black, not backlit at all. 1080p looks very good and I don't even use the HDR feature. I believe some Blu-ray players and video game consoles upscale to 4K but they cost much more than a standard HD Blu-ray player.
