A:AnswerNo, your installer won't be able to "switch" your electric to gas. He/she will run a gas line to the stove. You'll also need a dedicated 110 outlet within 40" or so for the stove. We had to move an electrical outlet for this. Fortunately, my son is an electrician.
A:AnswerThe Best Buy I bought from had free delivery and the installation charge was $35. Obviously the gas line kit is an additional charge I believe that cost me $45. So long as you have an appropriate, up to code gas hook up in the area of the stove that would be the only other requirement. The hook to prevent the stove from tipping, if a child pulls on it, is free and free installation of the hook.
A:AnswerThese are all really great questions goose. While the range is designed for natural gas, it can be converted to use liquid propane. A conversion kit (including LP orifices and instructions for installation/conversion) is included with the range. However, this conversion must be performed by a qualified installer or gas supplier. ^Jecca
A:Answerthe convection cooking is an option that can be turned on or left off, depending on what your doing at the time...(nice option)
And the new stove comes with the burner jets for conversion to propane...
