This appliance comes with a 1 year warranty. I opted to do the 5 year extended warranty. Since I have a Total Tech Support membership with Best Buy, the cost of my warranty was discounted. I checked other stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) and noticed that Best Buy had the best price for this appliance and the warranty.
