“I just purchased this TV this week and sometimes channels turn off and on (very quickly maybe for a second or 2). Has anyone experienced this? Is it a potential defect?”

• I have not seen that happen on my tv, the only flashing it does is with the cable box switching from one channel that is 720p to another that is 1080p

• Yes, within the first five minutes of turning the TV on, and other times after 30 minutes. It happened every time I turned the TV on. My TV was replaced and I have not had the problem since.
