“Can the tv be powered on/off manually w/o the remote? Does the picture submenu have an option to turn off the screen but keep the sound on like my current 32" UN32J5500? I use it for "white noise" while I'm falling asleep.”

Hi,I can not answer the questions until I get my Grandson to show me all of the new stuff on the tv when he comes to town,my old tv was 12 yrs old so I did not have to know much about it.
